As Education Manager for the USA, you'll be responsible for the execution of the American education strategy in line with the global education & content delivery and the USA business strategy assisting in achieving the business goals. You will be responsible for the overall direction & delivery of Partner and Small Business education, supporting the regional commercial strategies.

What you'll do

  • Assist in the development and management of the regional education strategy in line with the American commercial and the global education & content delivery strategy
  • Create and drive clear road maps and KPI's to achieve education goals
  • Maintain high engagement levels with the USA Go To Market team, provide input and feedback on an ongoing basis
  • Monitor and analyze key data and metrics, making recommendations and changes ensuring that the education offering is as effective and efficient as possible
  • Be responsible for the implementation of all education requirements
  • Ensure that the curriculum is continually refreshed and enhanced
  • Create and deliver live webinars, events and face to face sessions for the business
  • Create eLearning and video content when required
  • Balance the need for quality and quantity ensuring education content and resourcing is available in a timely manner
  • Determine the most appropriate education format for all requests
  • Drive content production through the appropriate stages to ensure quality output in a timely manner
  • Work with the global partner & smb content team to ensure effective use of global resources in the timely delivery of initiatives in the USA
  • Onboard new team members, external writers and industry experts where appropriate
  • Work closely with regional Sales and Marketing to deliver content for local initiatives
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the USA team and global content teams
  • Proactively communicate with regional MD, Sales, Marketing and Partner Consulting managers around new education deliverables activities or events
  • Design and report on key metrics / monthly reporting to the GM of Education & Content Delivery to ensure objectives are being met
  • Actively engage with Education Managers/Heads of Education in other regions to ensure continual improvements and application of best practice

Success looks like

  • Help design and deliver the regional education strategy
  • Provide clear timelines and outcomes for projects for the USA and Global Content teams based on both business and customer needs
  • Ensure Xero customers are provided with every opportunity to learn in a way that suits them, to become skilled and confident users
  • Being able to make decisions autonomously with both the regionally and global requirements at the heart of what you do
  • Design, create and deliver content that is suited to the region and the need of the customer
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Be the voice of education in the USA - keeping all relevant stakeholders updated on all activity and deliverables
  • Be the go to person and advocate for all things education in America
