This role will pay an annaul salary of $70,000 to $80,000.

Responsibilities

Drives revenue for venue through innovative and collaborative marketing
tactics that support venue goals.Works with internal and external key stakeholders in order
to maximize marketing resources while maintaining brand integrity for the venue.Utilizes sales and marketing principles to promote the venue and remains current with emerging marketing trends, tactics, strategies and technologies.Creation, development, and implementation of the venue Marketing and Advertising Plan to create regional, national, and international awareness of the facility.Assist with facility's website, creates and maintains editorial, blog, and news of the venue.Responsible for the creation of facility ads both for print and digital.Create, develop, and maintain the venue email marketing program; focus on database acquisition and lead generation.Create, develop, and manage content of the venue assets.Manages outside graphic design, communication and/or marketing consultants on a variety of creative projects, including web sites, presentations, reports, and other communication vehicles as needed.Create, manage and implement the digital advertising strategy and optimize social media & digital buys for optimal results, audience targeting, higher engagement, website traffic and goal conversions.Development of marketing materials and procedures to have the Marketing Departments function effectively as an in-house agency.Monitors, analyzes data, and creates management reports and detailed evaluations of marketing strategies.Establishes and maintains relationships with media, industry influencers and key community and strategic partners.Seeks new contacts and maintains working relationships with all media representatives, civic and industry organizations, corporate promotional contacts, and event and booking representatives.Develop, create, and implement the venue client advertising and sponsorship program to drive revenue for both the client and the venue.Works with venue partners in the creation and supervision of marketing plans for events when required, to include all available services, public relations, media placement, direct mail, promotional development, non-profit opportunities, etc.Works directly with event, exhibit and show staff regarding publicity, marketing and media
opportunities.Attend seminars, conventions, etc. to enhance industry knowledge.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in marketing, public relations, communications, business or other related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of increasingly responsible experience in sales and/or marketing, preferably with a sports facility, convention center, performing arts facility or other multi-purpose public assembly facilityStrong leadership, organizational and computer skills requiredDetail oriented with excellent organizational skillsStrong written, verbal and interpersonal skillsOrganizes and expresses ideas and information clearly, using appropriate and efficient methods of conveying the information. Must have exceptional command of the English language, oral and writtenPresents information professionally with poise and confidence in front of an audience. A proven record of online engagement and listening.Must be a committed, organized user of social media tools, with an understanding of how to drive programs through digital media, manage database marketing to reach new customers and drive increased revenue.Accountable and detail-oriented; must be able to multi-task within time constraintsMicrosoft office applications and word processing skills required, as well as database management, graphic design, PowerPointStrong understanding of social media, web-based advertising and website maintenanceTeam player who is a creative and proactive problem solverWork a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays, extended (long) workdays and extended number of days when requiredKnowledge of Adobe Photoshop is preferred
