Job Description
Lead the recruitment process from job posting to onboarding.Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.Conduct interviews, reference checks, and coordinate with hiring managers.Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations practices.Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and professional manner.Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the HRIS.Train staff on the new system and ensure data accuracy and security.Continuously improve HRIS functionality and user experience.Lead the initiative to transition HR operations to a paperless environment.Develop and implement a detailed project plan, ensuring minimal disruption.Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate digital solutions.Supervise the HR Specialist, providing guidance and support.Manage employee records, benefits administration, and performance management.Conduct training sessions and professional development programs.Ensure all HR practices align with the institution's mission and values.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role.Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HRIS implementation.Strong project management skills, particularly in transitioning to paperless systems.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of HR best practices and current labor laws.Experience in a cultural or non-profit institution is a plus.What's on Offer
This role offers competitive compensation based on experience (70-94K annually) and fantastic benefits. This role offers hybrid flexibility for 1 day a week. This role also works out of a historical New York City landmark.
