Job Description


Market Express has exciting new opportunities for mechanics looking to become a Heavy-Duty Tractor & Trailer Technician for our Portland Service Department.

Shifts available will be Monday through Friday swing shift with weekend shifts available as well- plenty of opportunities for overtime

RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize comebacks.

Maintain a safe work environment.

Must be willing to work in all weather conditions.

Must be able to accurately diagnose and perform repairs and confirm the repair on site.

Need to have a strong knowledge of DOT regulations as well as ability to identify maintenance issues.

Must have excellent customer service skills and maintain communications with your supervisor.

Must be clean, organized, motivated and take pride in your work.

Must be able to lift 50lbs as required

Maintain company vehicle and equipment

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a valid driver?s license and be insurable, valid CDL would be a plus

High school diploma or equivalent required

Basic computer skills

Proficiency in the use of hand tools required

Must have a positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow

Must own your tools

Applicants must have 49 CFR & Certifications
