Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for cost management and analysis? An amazing company is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cost Accountant to join our finance team. Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and report on cost variances, identifying trends and providing actionable insights.
  • Perform cost accounting activities, including inventory valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS) calculations, and production cost tracking.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to develop accurate cost standards.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements related to cost accounting.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing cost-related data and analysis.
  • Conduct regular audits of cost accounting processes and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Cost Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
