Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to research, develop, and implement high-priority, cross-cutting, and innovative long term services and support policy initiatives for the Office of Long Term Services and Supports (OLTSS). This position supports the Director and Deputy Director of OLTSS by conducting research, performing qualitative and quantitative analyses, making recommendations to the Director by way of evaluating, analyzing systemic issues, drafting reports and presentations, and participating in speaking engagements on behalf of the Director. This position serves as an expert policy consultant and technical advisor on home and community-based and institutional services. This position supervises three staff; and leads and participates in stakeholder engagements and workgroups for health care financing and policy development.\r

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:���A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.\r
Experience: Three years of experience evaluating, analyzing, researching and developing health care services, policies and programs.\r

1. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Master's degree in Health Sciences, Health Care Administration, Public Health, Public Policy or closely related field�for one year of the required experience.\r
2. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Doctorate degree in Health Sciences, Health Care Administration, Public Health, Public Policy or closely related field�for two years of the required experience. \r

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
