Responsibilities

  • Work with Account Executive/Sr. Associate to plan, coordinate and implement educational conferences and events meeting the client need, vision, and budget
  • Manage event registration and inquiries
  • Assist in the development and execution of event marketing campaigns
  • Maintain the event websites
  • Manage client specific event mobile apps
  • Manage online speaker platform and inquiries
  • Prepare on-going and final event reports
  • Assist in webinar coordination
  • Provide on-site event support
  • Provide additional administrative support as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-3 years' experience in a professional environment; preferably with association management company, industry trade association or hospitality industry experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and assess priorities
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Experience with member management software and event registration software, event technologies, CVENT & Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Experience in event coordination including exhibitions, hotels, venues, food and beverage, special events, etc.
  • Experience with email marketing platform and working with graphic designers
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and resourcefulness under pressure
  • Positive attitude and outgoing personality to interact with a variety of clients and customers
  • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends with limited travel

Travel

This position will require up to 25% domestic travel throughout the year.

ADA Specifications

This is a largely sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 40 lbs.
