Accounting Clerk - Cash Management Specialist #OFFICE_INDEED

We are currently seeking a responsible, organized and detail-oriented individual to join a high volume accounting team to assist with processing accounts payable expenses.

The Accounting Clerk ? Cash Management Specialist will assist with daily and monthly reconciliation procedures.

Ideal candidates for this role will have at least two years or business/accounting experience with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Pay
$18 to $21 an hour

Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations (about 10-20 bank accounts of varying complexity) in a timely manner, to meet internal deadlines.
  • Assist with daily bank reconciliation procedures, including use of both spreadsheets and bank reconciliation software to match records and identify reconciling items.
  • Learn how store-level cash management procedures impact the bank reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external contacts to resolve reconciling differences and research issues and/or discrepancies.
  • Enter financial transactions in general ledger.
  • Scan and retain digital and hard-copy documents in accordance with internal policies and for audit and internal purposes.
  • Follow established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of data.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Associates or bachelor?s degree in accounting a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years business/accounting experience required, preferably as an accounting clerk.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
