I'm partnered with the Senior Director of Finance Operations at a global, billion dollar manufacturer of automotive products located near Deerfield. The company is growing through strategic acquisitions to grow their manufacturing footprint, and are now seeking to add on a Plant Controller/Finance Operations Manager to the team

Reporting to the Director of Finance Operations and tons of visibility to the Senior Leaders, you will oversee all the finance operations of the company to manage the cost and inventory spend. You will also be working with the various manufacturing sites, partnering with Operations and the Procurement team to provide financial analytics and recommendations to ensure logical financial decisions are being made.

Job Description

Partner with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain team to provide financial analytics and cost saving initiativesImplement process improvements to support all the cross-functional teams for budgeting/forecasting, and variance analysisDrive cost saving initiatives by analyzing production cost, establishing internal controls, developing the annual operating plan, and moreAnalyze transportation and freight expenses to minimize freight cost per unit for optimizationProvide financial insights and recommendations, and create financial models based on financial analysis to support key decision-makingAnalyze material price variances to forecastOversee inventory to ensure accuracy and efficiencyConduct physical inventory audits at the various manufacturing locations throughout the yearManage cost saving reports to identify gaps and develop action plans with senior leadershipPrepare monthly and quarterly operation reviewsSupport ad hoc projects for senior leaders as needed
