RK c- is currently seeking an Account Manager, VIP in its TriBeCa headquarters. The ideal candidate will have experience managing client relationships, driving VIP placements and strategy in a fashion PR agency or in-house PR team. This position will report into RK c-'s founder and head of strategy, and also mentor the company's dynamic team of PR assistants and interns.

RK Communications is an integrated communications agency connecting brands to consumers. With a team of strategists, media and celebrity experts, we work with brands inspired by the thrill. Our client work includes Hurley, SIEDRES, EM on Holiday, RHODE, and Brixton, among many others.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Drive at-once celebrity moments from street style to promo appearances, red carpet and beyond
  • Oversee celebrity and influencer seeding across several clients
  • Work in tandem with RK c-'s head of strategy to provide daily deliverables and insights to the company's portfolio of clients
  • Develop relationships with top tier talent, stylists and entertainment executives
  • Convert celebrity moments into meaningful, effective press placements
  • Oversee account team which includes an assistant account executive and interns to prepare sample fulfillment, monthly reporting and seasonal strategy
  • Ensure deliverables are met on a day-to-day basis to exceed client expectations

    Requirements:
    • Minimum 5 years fashion PR agency experience (post graduation) is a must
    • Proven ability to secure celebrity and influencer placement on a weekly, monthly and annual basis for contemporary and accessory brands
    • Excellent communications skills, among both internal team as well as with client accounts
    • Outstanding relationships with VIP, stylists and entertainment media
    • Proven ability to secure VIP and influencer coverage on a daily, monthly and weekly basis
    • Keen understanding of the pop culture landscape
    • Strong ability to multitask and to excel in a busy showroom environment
    • A firm understanding and distinct knowledge of the media and pop culture landscape
    • Launchmetrics, Microsoft suite, Cision, Fashion Monitor experience is a must
