Job Description

Drive recruiting and employment activities to ensure timely placement of qualified associates for exempt, non-exempt, hourly, and temporary positionsDay-to-day associate relations including problem solving, counseling, coaching, fact-finding, etc.Administer and monitor worker's compensation, short-term disability, and FMLA claimsPerform investigations on any policy violation claimsProvide internal consulting services regarding the interpretation and application of HR policies and processes. Participate in developing best practices and implementing policies and processes as applicableManage hourly performance review processHelp to develop/support programs, policies, procedures, and controls regarding HR metricsReporting on HR metrics, headcount, and other various reporting requirementsEnsure compliance with employment laws. Represent or aid in the representation of the company on related litigationProperly execute corporate policies and HR programsKeep current on local and federal employment lawCoordinate training and development initiatives to support employee growth.Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.Support the development, implementation and / or update of company policies.Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.Facilitate and/or participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
