\tYOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\r
\r

\tAs a Manufacturing Technician for our Soda Springs, ID location, you will be responsible for providing high quality operation skills for the furnace tapping processes. This position also provides general maintenance services consistent with the skill and ability of the individual. This role is a full-time position working on 12 hour rotating shifts in temperatures that could reach 110 degrees Fahrenheit.

An example of the shift times could be: 5:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. – 5:30 a.m. This role will be directly reporting to the shift supervisor.\r

\tThe primary responsibilities of this role, Manufacturing Technician are to:\r
\r
\t \r
\r
\t \r
\r
\t \r
\r
\t\r
\t\tThis position is a hands-on position that requires the successful candidate to operate equipment and make repairs to ensure proper and consistent plant operations associated with furnace tapping;\r
\t\r
\t\tAdherence to all plant policies, procedures and outside regulations is required to ensure internal and external environmental, safety and health compliance;\r
\t\r
\t\tWork as scheduled to operate equipment associated with the tapping processes of all furnaces;\r
\t\r
\t\tPerform routine operation tasks during furnace delays;\r
\t\r
\t\tPerform non routine operation tasks during upset conditions;\r
\t\r
\t\tWork as scheduled to assist maintenance work throughout the plant;\r
\t\r
\t\tAssist with shutdown work when scheduled to do so;\r
\t\r
\t\tUnderstand and implement ESH Compliance requirements relevant to this position to ensure personal safety and the protection of the environment;\r
\t\r
\t\tPerform other responsibilities as assigned by supervision;\r
\t\r
\t\tAbility to apply information in furnace tapper training course and apply MOC process;\r
\t\r
\t\tCompletion of compliance training and gain a strong understanding of safety rules and Emergency Response Plan;\r
\t\r
\t\tApply computer skills such as, but not limited to, communicate via E Mail and to submit work requests in the plant maintenance system.\r

\t\tMust be able to lift fifty pounds up to a height of three feet;\r

\t\tRequires stooping, standing, and walking;\r

\t\tMust possess good hand/eye coordination;\r
\t\r
\t\tMust successfully pass a drug screen test;\r
\t\r
\t\tMust be willing and able to work twelve hour rotating shifts;\r
\t\r
\t\tUnderstand and implement ESH Compliance requirements relevant to this position to ensure personal safety and the protection of the environment;\r

\t\tMust be able to collaborate to drive results in the department;\r
