Accountable for ensuring manufacturability and safe operation of equipment utilized throughout all stages of production processes via the development, oversight, and execution of engineering projects.

Responsible for the design of process tooling, as well as the design and procurement of prototype manufacturing machinery, tooling, and testing apparatus.
Initiate and carry out engineering projects aimed at enhancing manufacturing efficiency.
Implement ongoing improvements in processes and materials to boost performance and minimize expenses.
Provide training and supervision to process technicians.
Prepare cost assessments for new production items.
Review and audit bills of materials and routings to ensure accuracy.
Consult with suppliers regarding appropriate tooling and material choices.
Inform the Plant Manager of equipment requirements.
Independently strategize and outline methods and procedures for comprehensive project assignments and develop innovative solutions for product development challenges.
Compose project reports detailing findings, recommendations, and evaluations.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science.
4-6 years of experience in Process Engineering.
2-3 years of experience in project management.
Familiarity with composite pipe and fitting manufacturing is preferred.
Demonstrated high level of technical aptitude and capability to comprehend engineering, design, and product performance challenges.
Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills.
Experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally in process development engineering.
Willingness to travel as required.
