As the Sr Manager of Stores Learning & Development you will lead the efforts in creating strategies resulting in innovative, effective and leading-edge learning solutions that align with key business initiatives as well as determine best-in-class onboarding programs for store leaders and associates.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the learning strategy to support the field organization (includes store operations initiatives and onboarding)
  • Work with key collaborators and cross-functional partners across the organization to create a comprehensive training strategy based on company priorities
  • Innovate and identify methods of training delivery (eLearning, apps, instructor-led both in-person and virtual) to optimize training effectiveness, training costs, or environmental impacts
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make recommendations to promote continuous improvement
  • Design and develop meeting content for field leadership teams
  • Maintain knowledge of instructional design and adult learning best practices and trends with the ability to apply appropriate concepts
  • Lead, inspire, and coach team members, fostering individual and team growth and agility through delegation, feedback, instruction, and inspiration. Build on strengths and identify areas for improvement
  • Cultivate collaboration to encourage sharing of best practices, driving innovation, and continuing improvement
  • Cultivate an inclusive, high-performing team that maximizes team member contribution by creating an environment of mutual support and shared responsibility

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of instructional design or multi-unit field leadership experience
  • Proven experience inspiring and leading a team of direct reports
  • Ability to multi-task, give and take feedback and work cross functionally
  • Ability to travel 20%, on average
