BoostDraft is a pioneering software engineering firm revolutionizing the legal drafting landscape with our AI-assisted document editor, effectively eliminating inefficiencies. Founded two years ago by graduates from MIT and Stanford, our initial focus was primarily on the Japanese market. However, within this short span, we've witnessed remarkable growth, boasting over 7,500 paid users, with 17 out of the top 20 largest law firms now utilizing our software.
Our success in Japan has largely been fueled by word-of-mouth referrals, as we've employed minimal marketing efforts. Additionally, we've secured numerous long-term, large-scale contracts with renowned enterprises and law firms. As a result, we have been highly profitable from Day 1 and have experienced exponential growth without outside funding.

As we expand into the US market, we've received encouraging feedback from American legal professionals. Nonetheless, it's important to acknowledge that there are nuanced differences between the Japanese and US markets that we're navigating. While we have gradually and steadily expanded our presence in the US without investing in marketing thus far, we now aim to elevate our efforts to the next level. To achieve this, we seek the expertise of a seasoned inside sales professional.
What you will do:
As a Business Development Representative at BoostDraft, your primary responsibility will be to drive the growth of our client base by identifying and qualifying new leads within the legal sector.
- Proactively prospecting and qualifying leads through various outbound approaches such as cold calls, emails, and other sales channels
- Cultivating a deep understanding of BoostDraft's product suite to effectively communicate its value proposition to prospective clients
- Collaborating closely with our sales teams to ensure a seamless handover of qualified opportunities and contribute to the overall success of the sales process
- Providing regular updates on sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics to the management team
- Conducting thorough analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Target:
The primary target audience for this role includes legal departments of mid to large enterprise companies, in-house attorneys, and mid to large law firms.
Requirements
You will:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, specifically within the software products domain.
- Demonstrated track record of success in sales roles, particularly with mid to large enterprise companies.
- Possession of a "hunter mindset" with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Existing connections within legal departments or relevant networks within the legal sector
- Proven success in selling legal technology solutions to corporate legal departments and/or law firms
Nice-to-have:
- Prior experience working in startup environments and familiarity with taking on Go-to-Market roles
