The BMT program is accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) for both stem cell transplant and immune effector cells, which is the threshold for excellence in cellular therapy. In 2022, the nurses on the BMT floor performed 122 stem cell transplants and multiple CAR-T therapies. Our Community of Caring Nurses on BMT have the opportunity to collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care to their patients.
