About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Transplant PCU/IMU team at AdventHealth Orlando. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the success of our unit.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to transplant patients, including those undergoing kidney, liver, and pancreas transplants.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions, including post-operative care and treatment of complications.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in transplant care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of nursing.
  • Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements.
  • EKG.
  • 1 recent year of PCU RN experience.
