Position Summary

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for positioning Mavely product offerings to our current and prospective users, industry leaders and partners, and media. As a high-growth product-led company, Mavely seeks an experienced product marketing professional who will lead the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new features, integrations, and product offerings, including educating internal teams to ensure strong and cohesive messaging. This person will report to the Marketing Director with close collaboration across multiple teams including Product, Creator Success, and Revenue. A successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable with a high degree of autonomy, and have the ability to create and manage GTM processes.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute the go to market (GTM) plans for new products and features, including managing cross-team dependencies
  • Identify our ideal customer profile (ICP) and collaborate on key messaging by segment to drive new business acquisition
  • Contribute to market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors, leveraging surveys, interviews, focus groups, and other methods
  • Understand and inform the product roadmap, anticipating future marketing needs and supporting feature prioritization
  • Become a go-to internal resource for competitive analysis
  • Champion positive user sentiment by identifying gaps in understanding and opportunities to improve positioning, and execute solutions
  • Create processes and materials to educate internal audiences to ensure consistent messaging around Mavely products and features
  • Develop content including product update blogs, app store updates, in-app copy, product-related social content, help articles, sales enablement materials, etc. with support from the Marketing team
  • Facilitate case studies by identifying beta users, conducting interviews, and collecting user data
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement in product marketing strategies

Education & Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years of product marketing or product management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, computer science, engineering preferred

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies
  • Experience with tools like Linear, Asana, and other project management tools
  • Comfort working across key Mavely systems like Figma (design), Hubspot (CRM), Domo (business intelligence platform)
  • Experience or comfort in a startup setting
  • Excellent written & verbal communication, collaboration, and project management skills
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical information into clear, impactful marketing communications for target audiences
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving projects to completion and successful marketing campaigns that drive adoption
  • A sense for narrative, with the ability to extract and tell stories about user experience
  • Experience planning and leading initiatives, clearly defining roles and responsibilities to multiple team members
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting objectives and deadlines
  • Comfort working with data and various data systems to glean actionable insights
  • Attention to detail, meticulous quality assurance
  • Passion for driving business growth and customer success through effective marketing strategies
