Overview

Job Summary

This position is responsible for generating predictive machine learning (ML) models, Large Language Model (LLM) interfaces, text mining, NLP models that turn data into insights for recommended action to solve problems and improve experience for all individuals who interact with the organization.

Ideal candidates will have knowledge and experience with applied mathematical / statistical modeling and modern ML platforms.

Essential Functions

· Create ML solutions for various business problems. Uncover, learn, and understand business problems, processes, and their characteristics.

· Assist with goal setting and benchmarking based on best practices and data.

· Design, develop and implement mathematical modeling and statistical algorithms to deliver improvements in business processes.

· Design, develop and implement predictive and descriptive data mining models to support data driven decision making.

· Analyze data and generate insights, with a focus on improving the Human Experience, across Teammate, Patients, Physicians, APPs, Faculty, Leaners and Volunteers.

· Collaborate to ensure models meet stakeholder's needs and recommendations are seamlessly integrated into existing systems / workflows and decision-making processes.

· Learn emerging technologies, modern algorithms and scalable ML cloud platforms for high accuracy results.

· Leverage data from various experience domains using artificial intelligence (AI) to generate insights that inform and facilitate behavior changes for best-in-class experience.

Physical Requirements

Position requires some travel. Will be exposed to weather and road hazards.

Exposed to a normal office environment.

Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.

Education, Experience and Certifications

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, analytics or a related field required and 5+ years' experience in data, analytics, and insights required. Master's degree or a PhD in one of the same fields preferred.

· Experience solving analytical problems using statistical / mathematical modeling methods

· Experience with Python, R, MatLab, SAS, SPSS or equivalent statistical software package / language.

· Experience with applied statistics, machine learning, and predictive model development against diverse data sets.

· Knowledge in one or more of the following techniques: Linear Regression, Logistical Regression, CARTS, Random Forest, Queuing Theory, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Clustering, Natural Language Processing.

· Experience with at least one cloud ML platforms is required: Databricks, Dataiku, DataRobot, AWS SageMaker, Alteryx

· Proficiency in Exploratory Data Analysis, Data Wrangling and DML with SQL or scripting languages is required.

· Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques using Tableau or Power BI is required.

· Previous experience in a healthcare organization is preferred

· Strong organization and communication skill
