Position Title: Content Writer 1

Location: Redmond, WA,98052

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $36/hr on w2

Expected Duration: Contract of 12 Months

Job Type: REMOTE

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Top 3 Hard Skills Required:
  • 1-2 years of experience Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills to communicate with Stakeholders
  • 1-2 years of Experience in in creating documentation for a technical audience
  • Some background (not extensive or fancy) in AI or Machine Learning (ML) (Nice to have; Not required)
Summary:

The main function of a Content Writer is to write technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. A typical technical writer is responsible for organizing, editing and maintaining technical records and files.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
  • Maintain records and files of work and revisions
  • Confer with client to establish technical specifications and to determine subject material to be developed for publication.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or English, journalism, communications
  • 0-2 years' experience required
  • Experience in in creating documentation for a technical audience
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Ability to read some programming code
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
