This position is remote with quarterly travel to work together in-person, but we prefer candidates in one of our cities of operations, including Atlanta, Seattle, Los Angeles, Miami, DC, Dallas, Phoenix, or Minneapolis.
About the Sales Manager Role
Saltbox is seeking a highly energetic and strategic Sales Manager to lead our sales and account management initiatives within our network of co-working warehouse spaces. With a passion for training and development and a profound understanding of e-commerce brands, this role will be pivotal in optimizing occupancy rates and lead performance, refining tour strategies, reducing churn, and enhancing account management processes. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in selling physical spaces or physical products and possess a deep knowledge of financials, particularly profit and loss statements. A strong leader with a results-driven approach, this individual will be ready to drive our sales team to new heights across all 12 locations, providing expert guidance on enhancing performance and fostering seamless cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Optimize Sales Performance and Processes:Lead engagement and conversion strategies, collaborate with marketing and location teams, provide comprehensive training, mentor inside sales representatives, and foster a high-performance sales culture.
Enhance Tours and On-site Sales: Develop effective tour strategies and training, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement new product-based training.
Reduce Churn and Improve Retention: Establish standards and resources to reduce churn, anticipate potential issues, and device retention plans.
Drive Account Management Excellence: Implement robust account management strategies, deliver impactful training, and enhance member satisfaction to reduce churn.
Ensure Seamless Multi-Location Account Management: Manage multi-location accounts, build strong relationships with key accounts, and address their unique needs.
Qualifications:
- You're a proven sales manager with extensive experience in leading and transforming sales teams to exceed targets and drive revenue growth.
- Your exceptional leadership skills inspire and motivate your team and cross-functional teams to achieve outstanding results in a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- You're an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- You're a strategic thinker and proactive problem-solver with a results-driven approach, leveraging data and analytics to optimize sales processes and improve performance.
- You're proficient in HubSpot software and other sales tools, utilizing them to streamline operations and enhance customer relationship management.
- You have a passion for and extensive experience in training and development.
- You have a strong interest and deep knowledge in e-commerce brands, tailoring sales strategies to resonate with and drive their success.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, demonstrating your ability to navigate complex sales environments and deliver exceptional results.
- You're able to travel 20-30%, maintaining flexibility to meet clients, attend industry events, and support the team across different locations.
