Chief Growth Officer

Our Chief Growth Officer (CGO) develops and leads the growth vision, strategy, plans, and processes that will drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives. Identifies and evaluates new markets, channels, and customers. The CGO, their team and Acxiom business leaders partner to build solutions that leverage the intersection of marketing strategy, data, identity analytics, and marketing technology to enable brands to deliver world-class customer engagements that result in long-lasting, profitable relationships.

This role will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will have direct responsibility for leading a business development revenue team across multiple verticals and multiple channels while driving a Growth development team to drive new logos into the enterprise.

Acxiom's Expectations

  • Drive execution of the strategic sales plan through the organization, ensuring sales goals are achieved.
  • To maintain and develop productive relationships with potential clients. Drive a team to close new logo business.Is directly responsible for the achievement of profit and sales objectives for new logos while providing direction, management, and development of various existing and new staff.
  • Will continually review, analyze, and adjust team process and procedures related to attainment of new logos to ensure success. Using data and sales process to drive growth.
  • To lead, train, and coach the employees of the Growth organization and ensure that they completely understand the unique value of Acxiom Solutions.
  • To identify new market segments and assess operational problems or issues to be proactive in the competitive market.
  • Utilization of sales tools to drive lead generation, sales pipeline, metrics for success to drive new business revenue.

  • Digital media, technology platforms and data expertise. The role requires a sophisticated understanding of matching client needs to our adtech and martech solutions, leading with data, and the experience and ability to lead our team to utilize these solutions to grow revenue. A solid understanding of programmatic, both tech and sales sides of the business, is required.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or any business-related field preferred
  • 15+ years of leadership experience driving revenue teams and experience leading business development specifically.
  • Success leading sales development reps and enterprise sellers.
  • Prior experience in the data, identity, technology, media, creative, alliance partnerships and cloud growth channels.
  • Experience and deep knowledge in martech, adtech and data/identity solutions.
  • Outgoing individual with strong negotiating skills to be able to initiate and close business deals.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills across the growth lifecycle - from lead to contract.
  • Work cross functionally to drive strategy and results of new logos.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Elevated level of organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Leads team with accountability and passion to win new logos.
