This role is in conjunction with a 0.8 FTE Clinical Role.

Compensation: $491,000.00 plus performance-based incentives.

Position Overview

MedChi is seeking a Medical Director to oversee our well-established and thriving anesthesiology practice. The Medical Director will be responsible for ensuring the quality of care delivered to patients throughout the care continuum, as well as providing medical leadership for clinical and operational planning, quality assessment, and ongoing medical education.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited medical institution
  • Licensed to practice medicine in Maryland
  • Board certification or equivalent credentials
  • Credentialed to practice within MedChi facilities
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of clinical experience with direct patient interaction
  • Experience in a leadership capacity is essential
  • Additional education in healthcare management is preferred
