SUMMARY: The Program Manager reports to the Sr Director, PMO. This role champions the development and implementation of standardized processes, tools, and best practices, ensuring the PMO delivers strategic value and drives the successful execution of key initiatives. The Program Manager unifies projects across programs, establishing clear visibility into overall program health, including program metrics, risks, outcomes, and effectiveness to drive continuous improvement. This role plays a key part in shaping the vision, creation, and maintenance of projects across programs, ensuring successful product outcomes that align with Edmentum's business objectives and prioritize our Educator First mission.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Define, deliver, integrate, and continuously improve the PMO 4 P's (Project Management, Portfolio Management, Process Management, and People-Centered Best Practices).

· Develop operational frameworks, activities, and practices that align with the product vision and enable clear pathways to success. Provide appropriate tools and resources to support development teams.

· Foster and champion strong strategic and operational partnerships across a product portfolio.

· Program manage initiatives, products, and/or portfolios, enabling continuous value streams that deliver outcomes aligned to roadmaps. Partner closely with product, technology, and development leaders and teams throughout planning and execution.

· Operationalize the strategy, roadmap, and overall project lifecycle for Product development initiatives.

· Facilitate the creation, documentation, and evolution of product development workflows and dependency mapping.

· Document and analyze risk deficiencies, risk events and incidents, including supporting root cause and lessons learned analysis efforts, to identify trends and improvement opportunities and recommendations.

· Oversee program management of Product projects, enabling and optimizing continuous value streams that deliver outcomes aligned to Product strategy.

· Approach complex business problems, aligning divergent stakeholder teams to a common plan.

· Provide program and project analysis, status reports, and metrics to track the realization of expected benefits.

· Maintain effective and seamless communication across senior leaders, stakeholders, teams, and vendors.

· Additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor's degree or higher in business, operations, education, organizational development, or related field
· 8 years of experience in SaaS; education technology and/or publishing experience preferred
· 6 years of experience in program and/or project management
· 4 years of experience in agile and waterfall-based development practices · PMP or PgMP Certification
· Process improvement or change management certification or training
· Strong knowledge of project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project time tracking, etc
· Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, and/or Confluence · Expert level proficiency with process mapping tools (Visio, Miro, Lucidchart, etc)
· Proven experience in budget management
· Proven experience managing programs, varying in complexity and size · Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and team-building skills
· Experience working with multiple vendors, including onshore and offshore · Exceptional writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills
· Careful attention to detail
· Strong creative and critical thinking skills
· Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
· Flexibility and willingness to learn
· Positive and high-energy attitude
· Proven ability to work in multi-faceted and fast-paced environment
