Our team members are spread across North America, with many conveniently located within a few hours of our Hopewell Junction, NY headquarters. While the majority of our team works from home most of the time, we recognize the unique value of face-to-face interactions.

Depending on the role, team members may be asked to join us at HQ periodically—ranging from once a year to quarterly, monthly, weekly or even more often. This approach ensures that we can maintain strong team cohesion and collaboration while respecting individual needs for flexibility. Position Summary

The Product Manager is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of Lovingly's Product offerings. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into product features, lead cross-functional teams, and drive product success through data-driven decision-making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning (25%)

  • Develop and maintain a long-term product roadmap aligned with company goals.
  • Conduct regular market analysis and competitive research.
  • Identify new product opportunities and potential threats.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define product strategy.

2. Product Development (40%)

  • Create and maintain comprehensive product requirement documents (PRDs).
  • Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team.
  • Prioritize features and manage the product backlog using JIRA.
  • Lead sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create wireframes and prototypes.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure proper implementation of features.

3. Data Analysis and Decision Making (15%)

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success.
  • Conduct regular quantitative and qualitative user research.
  • Analyze product usage data to inform feature development and improvements.
  • Prepare and present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.

4. Cross-functional Leadership (15%)

  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support.
  • Align stakeholders around product decisions and priorities.
  • Collaborate with sales and account managers on new feature launches.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop go-to-market strategies.

5. Innovation and Continuous Improvement (5%)

  • Stay updated on industry trends, especially in e-commerce and SaaS.
  • Explore and recommend the integration of new technologies, including AI tools.
  • Continuously improve product management processes and methodologies.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of software product management experience with SaaS products.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful B2B and D2C products.
  • Strong proficiency in agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience in e-commerce or marketplace platforms.
  • Knowledge of API development and ecosystem management.
  • Certification in product management (e.g., CSPO, PMP).

Performance Metrics

The Product Manager will be evaluated based on the following metrics:

  1. Product adoption and usage rates.
  2. Revenue generated from new features/products.
  3. Customer satisfaction scores related to product features.
  4. On-time delivery of roadmap items.
  5. Team effectiveness and collaboration scores.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Requires sitting for extended periods and using a computer.
  • Occasional travel (10-15%) may be required for team meetings or conferences.
    Note: Job candidates must reside in one of the following states: New York, Connecticut, or New Jersey. Candidate must be located within 1 hour of Hopewell Junction, NY.

    Salary Range
    The salary range for this position is between $120k and $180k based on skills, experience, and background.
