Job Description

The Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for:

* Provide strategic leadership and direction for the entire plant, managing all facets of production, quality, safety, maintenance, and personnel.

* Develop and implement production plans, budgets, and strategies to meet operational goals, including production volumes, cost control, and quality standards.

* Lead and mentor a diverse team of production leads, operators, and support staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and safety.

* Implement and maintain strict quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and industry standards.

* Drive process improvements and optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall plant performance.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations and timely production schedules.

* Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders, and proactively address any production-related issues or concerns.

* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management, providing regular updates on plant performance, risks, and opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Manufacturing Supervisor will have what follows:

* Manufacturing experience required, with a preference for mold injection process knowledge.

* A college degree in management, industrial engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, or a related field. A combination of education and relevant work experience will also be considered.

* At least five years of experience in production management and continuous improvement roles.

* Familiarity with production processes such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Design for Testability (DFT).

* Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

* Superior organizational and time management skills.

* Demonstrated success in continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.

* Bilingual (Spanish/English) is an advantage.
