GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Sports Medicine, Radiology & Clinical Services Coordinator assists the Program Coordinator – Sports Medicine, Radiology & Clinical Services with the delivery of care of radiological services with sports teams and patients. This includes, but is not limited to professional, collegiate, and high school athletes. Under physician supervision, specializes in performance of radiologic procedures on patients. Helps facilitate and coordinate radiology and clinical services through Henry Ford Medical Group.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • One (1) year of progressive level of experience in radiology or sports medicine services.
  • MRI certification and experience in fast paced clinical settings and/or professional or collegiate teams preferred .
  • General experience in Radiology preferred.
  • Maintain the required hours of continuing education.
  • Effective communication, understanding and sensitivity.
  • Accepts and respects diversity without judgment.
  • Adheres to professional sports teams or applicable governing body policies, including but not limited to NBA, NFL, and NCAA. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) required. Healthcare Provider certification (BLS) required.
