Roles and responsibilities include developing new business and leading advanced cyber security portfolios, leading technology development teams, winning proposals, managing costs/schedules, and developing new business with Government customers.

A successful candidate will work effectively throughout the Lockheed Martin organization, both vertically and horizontally, to build strong working customer relationships in the advancement of cyber resilient systems.

You will demonstrate a strong ability to work across organizational boundaries and jurisdictions and lead cross-discipline teams in the development of advanced security solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Capture Manager and/or Program Manager experience.
  • Current knowledge of the DoD S&T (Science & Technologies) environment and acquisition process.
  • The ability to travel 10%-25% to meet with current and potential customers/partners.
  • An active secret security clearance; ability to obtain a Top Secret / Special Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
Desired Skills:

  • Contract Research & Development (CRAD) experience.
  • An established network of partners and stakeholders within Department of Defense (DoD) cyber, microelectronics, or emerging technologies.
  • Team player – Builds effective customer, team, and partner relationships. Effective at organizing and motivating a diverse set of managers and engineers to act as "one" in the pursuit of common. objectives. Demonstrated ability to negotiate to a positive outcome with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills necessary to clearly articulate technology development and strategies to both internal and external organizations.

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
