About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Market Sector Leader to join our team at RLF Architects. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion in the federal market sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth in the federal market sector.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, and develop leads to support business growth.
  • Collaborate with the Federal Capture Manager and Federal Marketing team to develop and execute marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with federal clients and stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Lead proposal development and submission efforts, including the development of SF330 content.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and adhere to project schedules and scopes.
  • Utilize Client Relationship Management systems to document and share business development efforts.
  • Partner with the Federal Capture Manager to lead internal proposal debriefs and identify lessons learned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, design, business, or related discipline.
  • 12+ years of proven experience developing business within the AEC industry, managing or participating in the production of SF330 Federal proposals.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, fee proposals, building client relationships, and delivering complex federal projects.
  • Experience as a Project Manager or Client Leader.
  • Experience with Federal clients (e.g., DoD, USACE, and NAVFAC).
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, emotional intelligence, and communications skills.
  • Excellent client service focus, attention to detail, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with experience in MS Project and business development/CRM software a plus.
