Main Purpose of Job
Under the Anne Arundel County Department of Health Bureau of Family Health Services and Program Manager of Access to Care Programs, the main purpose for the position of the Medical Care Program Associate Supervisor is to provide guidance and supervision of staff and oversee operations of the MCHP/MA4F program in order to meet grant-mandated goals and objectives in accordance with state, federal and county guidelines.\r
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:�� Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. \r
Experience: Four years of clerical experience applying policies in a medical care, health insurance or federal or State entitlement program to include two years applying, interpreting and processing program specific information, policies, regulations and guidelines in a medical care program. \r
Notes:\r
1. Candidates may substitute additional general clerical experience on a year-for-year basis for the required education. \r
2. Candidates may substitute thirty credit hours from an accredited college or university for one year of the required�experience.\r

Knowledge of the Medicaid/HealthChoice Program policies including eligibility requirements, benefits, services, navigation, complaint process, and related services\r
Experience interpreting and applying a variety of laws, policies, regulations, and standards and procedures\r
Experience as a Medical Assistance Eligibility and Enrollment case manager\r
