The Operations Lead contributes to the success of the Entertainment Department by managing all of the elements necessary for daily operations including; venue readiness and safety, usher and stage management staff, venue signage, green rooms and department vehicles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Additional duties may be assigned. Management retains the discretion to change or add to the duties of this position at anytime.
Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Usher team during each season; including participating in hiring, properly training, motivating, and disciplining. Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of seasonal Stage Managers; including participating in hiring, properly training, motivating, and disciplining. Partner with Production Supervisor with the training of Show Technicians as it pertains to venue management and safety.Serve as MOD (600 Duty) or Lead Tech for Entertainment daily operations. Ensure all venues are prepped and ready for daily operations.Liaison with Maintenance department regarding venue or other Entertainment facility repairs.Ensure all green rooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary items for daily operations. Schedule and lead all required safety walks per season with Stone Mountain Police Department and Park SafetyInstall and maintain safety kits and fire extinguishers in all venues and ensures that all necessary personnel are trained relative to their use.Completes monthly inspections of department vehicles.Serves as Trainer for department vehicles.Assists with sourcing and the acquisition of all necessary equipment and supplies required for daily operations, rehearsals, and strike as assigned.Assists with seasonal scenic buildouts, installations, and strikesManages product and associated budgets as assigned per project.Assists with Auditions as assigned.Act as a liaison and support for entertainers, technicians, stage managers, and ushers, ensuring their concerns are met, their working conditions are satisfactory, and the quality of their performance meets the goals of the department and Company.Regularly audit performances; perform one-on-one evaluations as assigned.Acts as departmental archivist, ensuring that the departmental library is functional, current, and represents all entertainment products produced at SMP. This includes past and present, to the extent that should there be a need to reproduce product in the future, all necessary production elements are identified, archived, and documented in the departmental library (scripts, videos, renderings, etc.).Participate in and contribute to the development and orchestration of annual entertainment programming.Conduct show/product/company research as assigned.Provide administrative support as assigned.Oversee and/or lead projects as assigned.Produce individual shows as assigned.Direct shows as assigned.Follows all safety standards and regulations required for position.All other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
