Are you a natural leader with a passion for mentoring teammates? Join DLC as an Accounting Manager so you can work closely with the SVP and VP and play a part in developing the next generation of leaders.

About the Role:

  • Work with SVP and VP of Accounting to enhance and/or develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation, effectiveness, and efficiency of the department
  • Total involvement with all accounting and reporting functions of assigned portfolios under management including reporting results internally and externally to lenders and investor partners
  • Manage and monitor cash flow and forecasting
  • Beginning-to-end preparation and review of monthly Income Tax Basis and GAAP financial statements with analysis of actual to budget variances
  • Review monthly property reporting packages including data from legal, construction, and other operations groups
  • Responsible for lender debt compliance including DSCR and debt yield calculations
  • Participate in the preparation, review, and re-forecast of annual budgets

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 4+ years of financial analysis experience (Public experience preferred)
  • Strong systems experience: MRI, Nexus, and Procore experience all a plus
  • Experience overseeing and developing staff
  • Residential or commercial real estate experience (commercial experience preferred)
  • Tax and GAAP basis experience
  • Organized and reliable with strong analytical skills and attention to detail

The expected salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $140,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.
