Job Summary:

Reporting to the Securitas Healthcare Finance Director this role is principally responsible for supporting commercial controllership with responsibilities including revenue recognition, key accounting reserves, and business results analysis and compliance with responsibilities including control management and audit and tax support.

Travel: 10%

Major Responsibilities:

  • Own compliance for the business unit, working with the external and internal auditors to ensure successful audit completion and remediation of issues found and execution of internal business reviews.
  • Monthly close ownership including oversight of outsourced shared services, making key decisions during the close process, providing balance sheet analysis oversight, and reviewing for issues in the close process.
  • Balance sheet ownership including oversight of reconciliations prepared by outsourced shared services.
  • Own compliance for the business unit, working with the external and internal auditors to ensure successful audit completion and remediation of issues found and execution of internal business reviews and ICFR.
  • Review Revenue Recognition procedures and maintain month end revenue reporting.
  • Support new system Implementation and other activities to increase the productivity, decrease risk and improve the reporting.
  • Maintain process and reporting of affiliate revenue, AP, AR in partnership with other business controllers.
  • Work with the Global Controllership to implement process control strategies around functional areas, specifically focused on process simplification, automation, standardization, and internal control enhancements.
  • Key stakeholder on large projects and BU initiatives (e.g. system implementations, productivity initiatives, etc.)

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
  • Years Experience: 6+
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office package and ERPs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
