We are hiring an Manufacturing Technology Engineer in our DuPont Electronics business located in Marlborough, MA.


The Manufacturing Technology Engineer provides project and process engineering support to manufacturing through in-depth understanding of the equipment, facilities, technology, chemical engineering, and good manufacturing/engineering principals.

The role develops and reviews basic data packages for capital projects and participates in the execution of these projects.

The role is expected to deliver across all facets of Manufacturing Technology including Process Safety Management, Operational Excellence and Machine Safety.

The improvement engineer also learns and applies best known capital project methods throughout the manufacturing facility to improve quality, process safety, and process efficiency.


Your Key Responsibilities:


Supports capital improvement projects across the plant by innovating solutions, generating, and analyzing basic data, collaborating with the Capital Execution team.

Partners with plant operation personnel to secure process data for identification of technology gaps, improvement opportunities, and project definitions.
Coaches plant personnel on Most Effective Technology
Champions Plant Improvement Team(s)
Validates improvement opportunities using global tools and assists in building the Plant Specific Technology Plan & global technology plans.
Implements improvement projects in quality, process safety, and processes efficiency.

Works with the Improvement Leader to ensure implementation of Business-supported projects as identified in the Plant Specific Technology Plan including potential to own a Process Control System (PCS) operation module.

Works with the Improvement Leader in collection and analysis of improvement project results data to validate that projects deliver performance objectives after implementation.

Provides technical plant support in specialized areas including process simulation, modeling, risk analysis, and process optimization.
Leverages DuPont subject matter experts.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
5 or more years of experience in a chemical processing manufacturing engineering role
Experience as a Run Plant/Production Engineer
Six Sigma certification
Experience working on business-critical capital projects.
Batch chemical processing experience
Experience with electrical systems, HVAC, Maintenance, Infrastructure, cleanrooms a plus.
