This position is a mission critical occupation and is responsible for analyzing public health programs, policies and procedures to ensure that Health Resources and Services Administration meets its mission, goals and objectives.


As Supervisory Public Health Analyst, you will serve as a Regional Administrator, you serve as the HRSA Administrator's representative in the region and Office of Intergovernmental and External Affairs (OIEA) focal point for responding to the needs and requests of external entities.

You manage regional operations and supervise a staff of high-level public health analysts and other professional and administrative personnel.

Your major duties and responsibilities include:

Managing the Region by developing strategic and tactical plans for the states and territories included in their region to achieve HRSA and IEA goals.

Exercising full management and supervisory authority to support the overall operations of the Regional Office.
Ensuring that the various health care entities in the Region are aware of the Agency's resources.

Developing and maintaining relationships with state, territory, local, and tribal government leaders and creating new partnerships with key stakeholders to address HRSA's key priorities.

Ensuring the efficacy of HRSA's regional resources which includes human capital, technology, and facilities.
