We are seeking a highly qualified Registered Nurse 3 to join our team in Nursing Administration at the Fulton County Board of Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide professional nursing care and contribute to the prevention of illness, injury, or disability, the promotion of health, and the maintenance of the health of populations.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies, and/or procedures.
- Focus on the prevention of illness, injury, or disability, the promotion of health, and the maintenance of the health of populations.
- Care for populations with special needs during disasters/emergencies and biological and chemical protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
- One year of PHN experience and Current Georgia license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- CPR certification.
- Associate's degree/diploma in Nursing from an accredited college and Two years of RN experience and Completion of a PHN course within one year of hire.
- Current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license and CPR certification.
- Employment Information: Current State employees are subject to State Personnel Board rules regarding salary.
- Fulton County Board of Health accepts educational credentials recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered.
- The candidate selected for this position will be subject to pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check/fingerprinting and reference checks.
- As an employee of Fulton County Board of Health, in the event of an identified emergency, you may be required, as a term and condition of employment, to assist in meeting the emergency responsibilities of the department.
