As the Director of the Field Services Product Line, you will play a pivotal role shaping and executing growth strategies and optimizing the profitability of our ~$300M Field Services business. You will define our global services portfolio, service standards, and pricing throughout the organization to enhance our customer experience and deliver above market growth. This will include close collaboration with regional marketing & sales teams to ensure we have a compelling offering for our customers. This role will also be expected to drive other functions towards improvements in their areas (e.g., service delivery, operations, technical services) to deliver customer satisfaction as well as profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive growth strategies for the Field Services business across all elements of the portfolio including contracts, rentals, billable repairs, training & upgrades.
  • Product Management Excellence: Oversee our portfolio of services offerings, driving product management excellence and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create and deliver an effective and competitive service portfolio that meets customer needs.
  • Commercial Expertise: Strategically develop, implement, and optimize actionable strategies that will help the service sales & marketing teams to improve revenues through new customer coverage, billable service purchases, and higher contract conversion & renewal rates.
  • Market Analysis & Pricing: Conduct thorough market analysis, competitive assessments, and customer segmentation to identify emerging trends and opportunities for new business and to offer appropriate pricing & service standards to compete in a dynamic marketplace.
  • Collaboration & execution: Work with a wide variety of other functional areas such as R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain to identify & implement strategic initiatives that enable improved operational performance / profitability or that support new market opportunities.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, industry influencers, and partners, to drive business growth and identify collaboration opportunities to grow the business.
  • Service Partnership: Work with service operations & technical services to ensure we are able to deliver on service standards & profitability targets of our offerings, including by performance monitoring and management of financial (e.g., margin) & operational KPIs (e.g., downtime)
  • Financial Management: Take accountability for the financial performance of the product line, including delivering on growth, managing costs, monitoring price performance, and ensuring improved profitability of the business.

Key Measures of Performance:

  • Achieve Services Portfolio EBITDA targets
  • Achieve Service Revenue (field) and growth targets
  • Increase service level attachment rate a reduce discounting

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or science with post-graduate study preferrable
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in product management leadership within the Med Tech, Life Sciences, or a service intensive industry.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth & profitability initiatives at a strategic leadership level
  • Location is Hybrid remote in Shelton, CT.
