Job Description:

  • Execute the setup and configuration of accounting rules. Ensure setup is consistent and in line with GAAP and company requirements
  • Develop approach to system issues or new system process development which do not result in accounting errors and provide accurate GAAP accounting application.
  • Maintain auditable documentation around accounting rule maintenance
  • Assist Controllers with issues related to accounting rule execution
  • Execute miscellaneous system implementation projects assigned related to all systems utilized by Accounting
  • Journal entries
  • Reconciliations
  • Monitor all transactions and ensure accounting is correct
  • Data validation – reconcile sub ledger and general ledger

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • MBA or CPA designation is required
  • 5+ years of cost accounting experience required
  • Experience assisting with an ERP implementation required
  • Blackline or Onestream experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong technical accounting experience
