Summary

Axcient is excited to be adding product managers for two of our distinct products; Axcient x360Recover and Axcientx360Cloud. As a Product Manager at Axcient you are responsible for driving the strategy, positioning, and overall success of the product you manage. This is a highly visible position both internally and externally. You will drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our product vision, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform customer and user discovery to understand customer needs and build the product strategy.
  • Create outcome-based product roadmaps that accelerate the growth of Axcient's core product offerings.
  • Partner with marketing and sales departments to ensure successful go-to-market initiatives which includes product positioning, sales training, external webinars and more.
  • Empower sales, marketing and other teams with your product vision, market knowledge, and product deliveries.
  • Direct market research and competitive analysis to educate internal stakeholders, inform product roadmaps, and develop compelling narratives and campaigns.
  • Evangelize the product vision constantly so all stakeholders are aligned and understand the overall strategic direction and potential impact upon the business.
  • Work closely with Product Owners and Lead Developers to build product specifications, release plans, ensure technical feasibility and execution.
  • Measure what matters and use that data for tactical and strategic moves.
  • Be an expert on the MSP channel and their needs.
  • Know why we are winning and losing in the market, and drive changes to our product and processes to create improvement.
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of our competition and develop strategies and tactics to reduce the threat.
  • Drive buy-build-partner analysis, and where necessary, review potential partner relationships for the product.

You work easily with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, you are self-motivated and know how to get things done.

  • Equivalent of 3+ years of product management or similar experience in enterprise software, cloud computing, internet technology, SaaS, or a related field
  • Strong technical skills and business acumen with a proven ability to execute on the spectrum of technical challenges through to go-to-market and business strategies.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with M365 Graph APIs and Google Workspace. (Applicable to x360Cloud Product Manager)

Nice to Have, Not Required

  • Background in the MSP channel and their technology stacks
  • Deep knowledge of Backup Disaster Recovery products, technologies, and best practices

The estimated salary range for this position is: from $130,000 to $150,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary and will be based on a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies.
