Responsibility Summary - Quality Control Specialist (Concrete/Construction Materials)

Responsible for performing routine tests as required on raw materials, process components and final product to ensure that the requirements of the specifications and customers are met.Follow quality control plans or guidelines as assignedAssist internal and external customers in any quality related mattersCollaborate with technical staff as well as customer service and operations personnel to aid in the successful completion of inspections and testing of asphalt, concrete, and soilsPaid overtime and occasional weekend work may be required during the peak seasonRegular and predictable attendanceAssist with other functions of the business as necessaryQualification Summary - Quality Control Specialist (Concrete/Construction Materials)Prefer 3+ years of experience in QC within the ready mixed concrete or construction sectorACI Certification is preferred but similar testing/QC certifications will be given consideration with the expectation of getting ACI within the next 6-12 monthsHigh Scholl Diploma or GED required.Willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong communication skillsDeveloped analytical and problem-solving abilitiesSelf-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervisionStrong time management skillsAbility to work some night and weekends Valid state driver's license \#IND1
