Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intricate engineering tasks utilizing advanced methodologies to innovate processes and technologies.
  • Formulate strategies and evaluate the feasibility of substantial projects, managing design tasks within the engineering department.
  • Carry out power system analyses and coordination at voltages up to 500-kV, producing protective settings and relay configuration documentation.
  • Offer technical expertise, perform design evaluations, and ensure project quality assurance.
  • Serve as the main liaison for both internal and external communications, aiding in project scope and design discussions.
  • Guide junior engineers, contribute to business development efforts, and support marketing strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, accompanied by 7 years of experience in electrical systems analysis.
  • A Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience may be considered in place of a Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer licensure is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the design of protection and control systems for substation applications.
  • Familiarity with industry standards related to equipment protection and power systems modeling.
  • Proficient in relay coordination analysis and the development of relay setting files.
  • Capability to assist in the construction and commissioning of substations, manage multiple engineering teams, and ensure adherence to industry regulations.
