Director, Executive Development

Preferred Location: Indianapolis, IN or Atlanta, GA.

This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of the PulsePoint locations.

Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection, with the minimum in-office commitment being 1-2 days in the office per week.

The Director, Executive Development is responsible for creating and delivering programs to engage, develop, and retain high-potential associates and management.

How you will make an impact:
  • Leads the design and implementation of programs that supply the organization with trained Executive-level leaders, including talent pipeline.
  • Develops and manages the curriculum design for executive management training programs for top management talent and high-potential associates.
  • Responsible for facilitating, identifying, engaging, developing and introducing management talent into the talent pipeline for future director level roles.
  • Consults with management regarding the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of management training programs.
  • Ensures that all programs are designed to maintain plans and strategies.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Requires a BA/BS in Organization Development, Management, HR Development or related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise-wide training and development leadership required; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Executive management curriculum design experience required.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
  • Curriculum design for high performing and high potential management staff strongly preferred.
  • Advanced degree or professional learning and development certification strongly preferred.

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
