The Senior Human Resources Generalist serves the organization through a variety of Human Resources (HR) activities. Collaborating with the HR team, they perform tasks to support a high-performance culture and the resolution of HR related issues.

The Senior Human Resources Generalist performs transactional duties in the areas of recruitment, employment, engagement, total rewards, training, employee relations, compliance, and other HR operations special projects. They are responsible for the daily activities of HR functions, working on problems of diverse scope and demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Responsibilities

  1. Develop and work on a wide range of HR programs such as employment, compensation, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), training, benefits, personnel records, and employee relations utilizing organizational policy and procedures to solve complex and routine issues.
  2. Create and maintain compensation programs, performance management systems and personnel policies and procedures including communication plans.
  3. Partner with Senior Management and HR to facilitate the delivery of HR services, as appropriate.
  4. Resolve a wide range of HR operational issues with a hands-on approach and develop new programs and initiatives to meet the needs of the organization. Keep abreast of employment laws and compliance issues for federal, state and local regulations.
  5. Serve as a contact for employees to answer day to day questions regarding HR policies and procedures. Seek guidance from HR team on complex issues.
  6. Record, gather and analyze HR metrics. Maintain HR records and files in paper and electronic form; produce reports for management or HR team, as needed.
  7. Develop and execute organizational diversity initiatives and maintain records for EEO and affirmative action reporting. Develop and/or disseminate HR resources and communications such as position descriptions, benefit brochures, and employee handbooks.
  8. Support the talent acquisition team in the recruitment and onboarding process, as needed.
  9. Work on special projects or strategic initiatives, as needed.

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

  10. Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years' experience or equivalent experience.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
