The General Manager for Automattic for Agencies is responsible for creating a competitive offering for agency-customers that highlights our infrastructure, tools, and program benefits. Responsibilities:

  • Strategically bundle our product offerings to provide tailored solutions to agency clients, setting our platform apart from competitors by leveraging unique features like WooCommerce Payments and advanced hosting capabilities.
  • Implement robust sales-driven strategies tailored to various agency sizes and types, with an emphasis on agencies that influence mid-market businesses.
  • Lead a cross-functional team and foster collaboration among product, marketing, and sales groups to achieve program goals. Ensure alignment and execution of the agency program's strategic objectives across business units.
  • Effectively manage relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure the agency program's alignment with Automattic's broader goals.

Requirements:

  • Experienced in managing agency relationships and familiar with the web hosting and SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing GTM strategies that have significantly impacted business growth.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage diverse teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Innovative thinker with a customer-centric approach to solving business challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex solutions in a clear and persuasive manner.
