In this critical role, you will be responsible for all aspects of domestic and international shipments including all appropriate shipping and export documentation and final packing of orders to ensure safe and secure delivery. Broad knowledge of current global export regulations, environmental policies and dangerous goods regulations is required both now and in the future.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Responsible for the execution of Global export documentation for shipments originating in the U.S. to destinations globally and ensuring all documentation meets export and compliance regulations.
  • Arrange details of shipments with forwarders, agents, carriers, etc. as needed for exports by required pickup deadlines.
  • Responsible for filing Shipper's Export Declaration (SED) to the Automated Export System (AES) and Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).
  • Processes shipments on parcel client's (UPS, FedEx, and DHL) shipping systems to include research and tracking shipments for customers.
  • Transacting of daily shipments including producing labels and other documents for domestic and international shipments.
  • Adhere to all ISO Procedures, Work Instructions and Process Packages including auditing line items on sales orders/invoices for accuracy.
  • Generate Hazmat documentation.
  • Frequent interaction with international sales coordinator.
  • Monitor service window for in-house customers.
  • Maintain Export documentation as advised.
  • Package shipments for all MHM departments as needed.
  • Keep packaging boxes and molds to acceptable levels.
  • Attend Export training to ensure compliance.
  • Responsible for assisting other departmental areas when primary responsibilities are completed.
  • Perform computer operations in the Corporate Resource Planning System (ERP), Oracle and Tradesphere.
  • Support all RoHS initiatives.
  • Supporting continuous improvement in Pack-to-ship complete cycle time and CSP failures due to Pack/Ship.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years related experience.
  • Proven experience in all modes of transportation with focus on international transportation and trade compliance.
  • Knowledge of Hazardous Material transportation regulations.
  • Required certifications – 49 CFR (DOT); International Air Traffic Association (IATA); International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG)
  • Four years' experience with all aspects of Global export documentation and knowledge of current Global export regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Word and Excel.
  • Oracle experience required.
  • The ability to lift 50 lbs. and to safely use all packaging and freight handling equipment associated with a shipping dock area.
