About the role: We're seeking a talented Licensing Administrator who will function as a primary point of contact for carriers and business leaders with the objective of getting licensed agents ready to sell. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the on-boarding and administrative tasks to request and approve carrier certifications and appointments. This position requires a collaborative mindset, high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to efficiently and accurately manage a complex and multi-step submission and tracking process in a fast-paced environment. This role will report to the Manager, Licensing Services.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for the end-to-end certification and appointment process for new and existing sales agents, collaborating with Licensing Advocates, managers and agents to ensure prompt completion
  • Develops a relationship with carrier partners and escalates issues to carriers in a timely and professional manner
  • Serves as a subject matter expert and ensures training and process documentation is clear and accurate
  • Responsible for generating ideas to continuously improve and streamline processes
  • Assists in overseeing the integrity of our licensing database, other internal systems and carrier portals; ensures updates are completed in a timely manner
  • Provides transparent and accurate status reporting to interested parties, according to GoHealth's quality and service standards
  • Handles private and highly sensitive data in professional and discreet manner and assists agents in obtaining and providing the correct documents to carriers
  • Responds to information requests within established timeframes
  • Assists in the coordination of carrier audits, including the review of previous audits to assess current regulatory exposure and review of corrective actions to ensure continued compliance
  • Effectively collaborates and maintains relationships with other internal departments
  • Other duties/functions may be assigned, as required

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Customer service mindset and positive "can do" attitude
  • Polished and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented, organized and a self-motivated continuous learner
  • Highly proficient with MS Excel
  • Ability to manage personal information with a high degree of discretion and sensitivity
  • Flexibility to work virtually or in office, as needed
  • Licensing experience is desirable; experience with data/working with licensing databases is a plus
