Duties

Serves as a Division Chief over multiple supply chain first-line supervisors in Army Materiel Command (AMC). Leads multiple supply chain workgroups toward organizational goals by developing objectives, assigning work, tracking progress, and overseeing outputs of their employees. Oversee and manage the command's fiscal planning initiatives for both Army Working Capital Fund (AWCF) and Operation and Maintenance (OMA). Provide strategic leadership and oversight to the prioritization and execution of command funds in support of major and secondary item requirements. Mediates complex issues and disputed technical questions and confers with subordinates on technical and administrative matters. Observes the operations of subordinate first-line supervisors and staff through written or oral reports, correspondence review, consultation with supervisors, and personal observation. Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Selectees must meet position requirements for (Advanced) Level, Life Cycle Logistics certification within 48 months as of entrance on duty This position has a Data Analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics level one (1) certification within 12 months of being placed on the position. This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required. This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
