As a key member of our logistics support team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing product support strategies that involve planning, coordinating, and evaluating the execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS) for acquisition programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Product Support Strategies: Assist in the development and execution of product support strategies that involve planning, coordinating, and evaluating the execution of IPS for acquisition programs.
  • Provide ILS/Production Support: Provide ILS/production support on acquisition logistics management activities, including development of acquisition logistics documentation and evaluating regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Assistance and Documentation: Provide technical assistance in the development of logistics product support strategies or product support packages, and assist in documenting and presenting product support/strategies/plans to product managers and key stakeholders.
  • Logistics Actions Support: Support the program on logistics actions, including but not limited to: BOIP/BOIP Feeder Data process, authoring LCSPs, supporting materiel release activities and equipment MWOs, APSA, logistics documentation, etc.
  • IPS Element Development: Support the follow-on development of IPS elements within portfolio product lines, including early development, planning, and staffing of critical design documents necessary to field tactical communication system capabilities.
  • Logistics Engineering Support: Provide logistics engineering support in developing Depot Level, Direct Support, and Organizational level technical supply and support in support of NetMod Product line, including maintenance for all components covered by existing warranty, CLS, or organic demand supported.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of repair and replacement parts.
  • Field Support: Provide field support to various systems as required.
  • Engineering Support: Interface and provide engineering support to resolve repair and replacement troubleshooting faults with the assistance of the helpdesk and technical assistance teams.
  • Process Development: Develop a seamless process with existing maintenance warranty or organic maintenance concept strategy.
  • Two-Level Maintenance Concepts: Support a variety of systems in developing two-level maintenance concepts involving field level and Depot level maintenance.
  • Depot Level Support: Provide depot level support, including maintenance of Program of Record and Non-Standard Equipment (NS-E), inventory management, spares/supply support, and emergency on-site field service, activity reports, accountability of repair activities in the field, and maintain and submit failure analysis data to help desk and track material end-to-end closing out all work requests.
  • Fielding and Refurbishment Schedules: Provide briefing, establish fielding and refurbishment schedules requiring coordination with other stakeholders/outside activities pertaining to fielding, refurbishment, and reconstitution in forward locations.

Requirements:

  • Clearance Level: US Citizen and must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level, candidates with an active Secret are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, normal business hours
  • Travel: Up to 25%
  • Education and Experience:
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • DAWIA Level I, II, or III Acquisition Lifecycle Logistics
    • 5+ years of experience with logistics support
    • Experience with the DoD
  • Nice to Have:
    • Experience with the Army preferred
    • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
    • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
    • BA or BS degree preferred
