Job Title: Warehouse Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary:

Hurricane Consulting Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Handling: Sort, store, and coordinate the issue of equipment to customers, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DOD) logistics procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Perform inspections to ensure quantity and condition of items, and turn in excess or unserviceable equipment to the Supply Support Activity.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Operate vehicles, hand and forklift trucks, and complete other assigned tasks as required to support the smooth operation of our warehouse.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with all levels of employees and outside contacts to ensure seamless coordination and execution of warehouse operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least two (2+) years of experience in warehouse inventory, record filing, and packaging duties.
  • Skills: Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, push, and slide up to 50 pounds routinely, and up to 75 pounds occasionally, as well as stand for long periods of time and perform other physical tasks as required.

Accountability:

  • Timely and Cost-Effective Performance: Ensure the timely and cost-effective performance of duties, while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
  • Teamwork: Harmoniously work with other employees and customers to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level, with US Citizenship being a requirement for Public Trust clearance.
