Overview

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the planning and coordination of special projects, initiatives and supporting tasks related to business unit-wide activities and priorities as assigned by the Program Transition lead(s) for newly awarded contract(s). This is a temporary position.

Essential Job Duties

· Plans and coordinates priority projects and initiatives as assigned by senior supervisors and managers

· Assists in the development and implementation of policies, processes, procedures and monitoring the achievement of business unit and/or supporting program objectives

· Coordinates efforts with various program departments, to include Operations, Quality Management, Testing, and Finance, and corporate support teams including Recruiting and Procurement

· Researches and analyzes operational, financial, and administrative data to assist in the evaluation of cost, quality, and performance within estimated timeframes and budget

· Communicates with program and corporate stakeholders in support of directed activities

· Utilizes various Microsoft suite products and other databases to achieve assigned tasks

· Develops and maintains program files and program databases per direction of the Program Lead(s)

· Collects and analyzes information and prepares reports regarding operational metrics and activities

· Coordinates, schedules, and provides logistical arrangements for conferences and meetings, including but not limited to assembling background materials, record of proceedings, etc.

· Maintains appropriate records of research methods and results of data collection in written reports

· Performs other duties as assigned by the Program Lead(s)

Minimum Requirements

· Associate's degree in management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience ensuring relevant competencies

· Strong computer and software proficiency to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheets and electronic presentations; high proficiency in typing, and automated processes

· Highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills, strong work ethic and ability to understand and appreciate mission requirements

· Excellent oral and written communication skills, including developing and delivering presentations

· Ability to work with minimal supervision

· Capacity to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and subcontractors, in a fast-paced environment

· Proven success working in competitive environments with tight timelines and multiple requirements

Work Environment

· Normal office (including remote environments) working conditions

· Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary

· May require ability to lift/and or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs

· May require up to 25% travel in support of assigned tasks and responsibilities
